La Maison du Trapel Policies ( Terms and Conditions )
All guest reservations require a 21 year old or older person make the reservation and each room requires an adult 21 years or older in every room.
Alcoholic Beverage Policy
In order to comply with local laws, regulations and for the overall general safety of all our staff and guests, La Maison du Trapel requires that all persons on the property comply with our alcohol policy. We restrict outside alcoholic beverages being brought onto the premises to beer and wine. Certain beers and wine may be further restricted at the discretion of our staff. If alcohol is being offered by our staff inclusive of a service, we ID all guests and will impose strict prohibitions against providing alcohol to anyone who is noticeably intoxicated. We appreciate your understanding of our policy so all guests can enjoy the property in a safe and comfortable environment. Intoxicated/aggressive guests may be removed from the premises by local law enforcement.
We have a 14-day cancellation policy. If you cancel with less than 14 days notice, you forfeit your entire deposit. If you cancel 14 or more days before your arrival date, there is a 25 euros cancellation fee and the balance is refunded. We do not offer refunds or changes to reservations due to weather conditions, unless we are notified by the local authorities in our immediate area of unsafe weather conditions. We do not offer refunds for no shows or early departures. Special events and packages are non-refundable.
We have a 30 day cancellation policy for the months of June, July, August and September. If you cancel with less than 30 days notice, you forfeit your entire deposit. If you cancel 30 or more days before your arrival date, there is a 25 euros cancellation fee and the balance is refunded. We do not offer refunds or changes to reservations due to weather conditions, unless we are notified by the local authorities in our immediate area of unsafe weather conditions. We have a 30 day cancellation policy for all bookings of more than two rooms year round.
Additional policies apply to group reservations of three or more rooms.
Please be sure to acquire trip insurance in the event of unexpected illness, death or weather related emergencies as we are not able to make an exception to this policy.
All cancellations must be provided to the innkeeper in writing. You will receive any refund due within 30 days.
Check In / Check Out Policy
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 a.m. Check out requires cars to be removed from property upon check out to open spaces for incoming guest. All guests are required to check out at the front desk to return keys and settle accounts.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
Forgotten or Discarded Items
Items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur a minimum charge of 10 euros and may take up to 30 days to receive. We apologize for any inconvenience. To avoid this, please be sure to thoroughly check your room for items that are of value to you prior to your departure.
One night deposit including tax is required and will be charged at time of booking. The remaining balance to be paid upon check-out.
Guest Quiet Policy
To ensure all guests have a relaxing and well rested stay, Quite Hours are observed nightly by guests from 10:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. inside and outside (on property).
For your health and safety, we are a completely smoke free and non-vaping property including; all guest rooms, balconies, and public areas except for the designated smoking area. There will be a minimum of 250 euros charged to sanitize or clean any area damaged or soiled by smoke.
We offer one (1) complimentary parking space for each room booked during your stay. All vehicles must be moved upon check out 11:00 a.m. to make room for arriving guests. Additional fees will apply for additional parking spaces. Please note that parking space is limited and additional parking may not be available.
Our rates are exclusive of taxes de sejour and includes complimentary breakfast. All other channels (e.g. booking.com, etc.) require full payment in advance.
If you wish to settle your account with a credit card you will be required to present the card at check-in where a pre-authorization for the total cost of accommodation plus a security deposit of 250 euros will be processed.
If you prefer to settle your account with cash, you will be required to pay the total cost of accommodation plus a security deposit of 250 euros to cover all incidentals at the time of check-in.
Please note that a valid photo ID will be required at check-in and a copy retained on file. La Maison du Trapel does not accept personal or company cheques as a method of payment.
A 400 euro security deposit authorization is required at check in for La Maison d’Oc.
No pets are permitted on property. Only service animals as defined under the ADA are permitted and must always be under the handler’s control. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA, and we do not allow these on premises. Guests violating this policy will be charged a minimum 250 euros cleaning fee and asked to leave the property. There are no refunds for violating this policy and early departure policies apply.
Photography and Filming
All photo shoots and filming are subject to advance approval by the owners. At least seven days advance written notice required prior to any personal or professional photo shoots. No closed-door filming allowed. Additional fees apply. In other words, you may not simply reserve a room for a photo shoot or filming. This also applies to the day of events such as weddings. A liaison designated by La Maison du Trapel will be assigned to monitor all photo shoots and filming. Please contact us further details. A separate contract is required. No hourly rates are available.
Removal of Hotel Property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. These include but are not limited to remote controls, bathrobes, linens, pillows, mugs, room key, books, etc... The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. Please inquire if you have any questions or concerns about this policy.
All guest rooms are located on the second and third floor. There is no elevator and no bellhop. Please pack accordingly.
No hourly rates are available.
Single room rates are based on Double Occupancy and are exclusive of 10% tourism tax. Additional guests over two (2) years of age will be charged 25 euros per person/per night.
The double room rate is based on 4 guests over two (2) years of age and are exclusive of 10% tourism tax. Additional guests over two (2) years of age will be charged 25 euros per person/per night.
La Maison d’Oc rate is based on 5 guests over two (2) years of age and are exclusive of 10% tourism tax. Additional guests over two (2) years of age will be charged 25 euros per person/per night.
We do not allow outside bedding in our guest rooms. Please note, some weekends in season require a minimum of two a (2) night stay and some holidays in season require a three (3) night minimum to book.
