Village De Lagrasse
Discover Lagrasse which is one of the most beautiful villages in France.
In a landscape of vineyards and hills, typical of Corbières, Lagrasse is crossed by the Orbieu, spanned by a bridge connecting the village and its old 14th century halls to its abbey, an architectural gem from the medieval period. Gouffre Geant De Cabrespine
In the bowels of the Black Mountain, the patient work of water has dug, for thousands of years, an immense cave. You will visit the giant chasm in peace from a ground floor path in a belvedere. The decor and the play of light make it an exceptional site. The glass walkway will make you dizzy! 200 meters of emptiness under your feet.
Abbaye De Caunes Minervois
Benedictine abbey with a superb apse of the first southern Romanesque art. The early Carolingian church was partially demolished and replaced by the current building, the construction of which extends from the 11th to the 14th century.
We discover the remains of the first abbey in the crypt, the single nave and its ribbed vault of the 18th century, a remarkable marble decoration in the sanctuary and the apsidioles. The monks' choir contains a reliquary containing the relics of the "Saints Martyrs of Caunes" honored since the 10th century.
Chateau De Peyrepetuse
Former castle of the crusade against the Albigenses, it was one of the fortresses built by Saint-Louis to protect the southern border of the kingdom of France. This immense fortress is equal in area to that of the City of Carcassonne. By the quality of its constructions, Peyrepertuse is the most remarkable example of military architecture of the Middle Ages. At an altitude of 800m, in the heart of wild nature, it overlooks the village of Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse.
A sound and light show in the underground galleries, a completely transformed Antiquity space, the realistic evocation of wine consumption and gastronomy in the Middle Ages and many other novelties: this is what is proposed to you for an even more moving visit. A little train will take you to the site! A wine and regional products store, a wine bar / restaurant where you can savor local products complete this system.

Since 1996, the Canal du Midi has been classified in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Locks, bridges, aqueducts, canal bridges that span the 240 km of waterway, testify both to a technical feat but also to a work of art.
